Introduction
When Honeywell's ASEAN region needed a refreshed executive portrait for Khun Peerasak Gamonsugosol, Regional President for ASEAN, the goal was clear: capture a leader who is both authoritative and approachable, in environments that reflect how he actually works. GM Studio was engaged to deliver a portrait set that respected Honeywell's brand guidelines while showcasing Peerasak's personality across multiple settings.
Planning Before the Shutter
Every frame was decided before the shoot day. We reviewed Honeywell's brand guidelines for executive imagery, then built a shot list spanning office, lobby, and outdoor locations. Wardrobe, lighting plans, and a location schedule were signed off by Peerasak's team in advance, so the session ran efficiently and nothing was left to improvisation.
Location: From Lobby to Garden
Rather than a single backdrop, we used Honeywell's own spaces: the red Honeywell-branded lobby wall, a modern glass office with city views, a conference room, and an outdoor garden. Each setting told a different part of the story — corporate authority, focused productivity, and approachable leadership — while keeping every frame on-brand.
Lighting: Natural and Controlled
We blended soft, flattering key light with the ambient daylight flooding through Honeywell's floor-to-ceiling windows. Shadows stayed gentle and directional, adding dimension without feeling staged. In the lobby and outdoor garden, natural light did the work, keeping the portraits warm and authentic.
A great executive portrait should feel like a meeting with the person, not a photoshoot.
Wardrobe: Dressing the Brand
Peerasak's wardrobe followed Honeywell's brand palette: a tailored grey suit with a light blue striped shirt and blue-orange striped tie. We advised on fit and how each option would read on camera. The final choices complemented every location and kept the focus on his expression — confident, composed, and unmistakably executive.
Conclusion
Brand-compliant executive portraits are not about rigid templates; they are about translating guidelines into a living image. By planning ahead, respecting Honeywell's standards, and blending controlled light with natural character, GM Studio delivered a versatile portrait set Peerasak and his team can deploy with confidence across every channel.
